I followed all the steps in the video and are installed tinker as well as downloaded Aurora but I have yet to see the little menu screen pop-up on the bottom right because the game crashes after launch. Developer options enabled

Game crashes are often caused by the specific Proton version you're using. Try a different one, older or newer.

How exactly do I run proton and tinker launch together? Because I only have option for one or the other. Sorry I'm new

I'm sorry but I don't use tinker launcher. Maybe you can ask the developers on Github? Edit: Here is a reddit post explaining how to change the version, maybe it helps: Link

On the game menu screen in Steam Tinker Launcher, you will scroll down until you see an option called "proton" or "proton version" that is where you will switch it. Make sure you have the proton downloaded and you have rebooted your device.
