You would have to try and see.
If it does work, great. If it doesn't work then possibly need to file and option request for them.

On the subject of the date editor, it's very easy to harm your progression by messing with the day you're on, and there doesn't seem to be much benefit otherwise. Since you're basically always on some sort of deadline changing the date can cause a desync between the current day and the days the game expects certain events to occur. Freezing the day value does NOT freeze the current deadline. It'll continue counting down even as the date stays the same, and just get stuck at zero days remaining with no way to advance. This sort of gives you infinite days since the story never advances, but when you're on "zero days remaining" you can't do much, since the game expects you to be doing story stuff. At this point you should be able to just change the date to the "correct" value and things should advance normally, but that gets dicey if you're not sure what the correct value is. Go too far and you'll skip parts of the game completely. I'm not sure what you could do with this option that would be of any use, outside of leaping around to different points in the game and seeing what does or doesn't break.

tl;dr careful with the date editor!

So the date editor worked for me once, the game hit a cutscene one day and fixed my days for me. Reverted the counter in the top, tried again for another deadline and what everyone else had issues with happened to me.

BUT, fixing the day to a day before or 2 days before (however long the trip is), going to dungeon, leaving forces a dinner/sleep. Waking up the day and allowing the game to continue, it definitely is finnicky but doesn't require a new game.

So should I remove the date editor? someone requested it and I added it, I'm not a gamer so I wouldn't know, I just did what had to be done.

I would leave it in, with a warning.

There's also an address to change the deadline that fixes the problem. I ended up having to find it on a cheat table floating around.

Yeah warning with just; "Day Counter may hit zero, and if it does not reset itself it will stop almost all interactable actions. Requires a trip to a dungeon to arrive the day before the quest deadline, enter the dungeon, and leave. Which will force a dinner/sleep and allow the story to continue." or whatever

there is some problem with super damage, you have to deaktivate it bevor you kill boss\quest monster, if not the quest wont finish oder can submit.
you still get the quest item though
