This was not intentional and you are the only one complaining about it so obviously something got reset on your end. If you make regular backups of your PC/files like you should, just restore the Aurora settings folder and everything will be right back like it was. But thanks for accusing us of just wiping everyone's settings for no ****ing reason whatsoever.
You know what we DISLIKE? When one of our major competitors (if you even want to call their pathetics asses that any more) announce MAJOR UX CHANGES (GOOD ONES THIS TIME!!!) and they look and function exactly like what has been in Aurora for 2 years. Wow, so original!
You wanna see what REAL UX CHANGES look like? Wait until you see Aurora 2.0 for the first time. In fact, I would wager every penny I own that if I posted a screenshot of something as simple as our new enhanced LOGIN screen, it wouldn't be two weeks before those idiots copied it completely.

I mean, are they really copying it? Sidebars have been getting a lot of attention lately, especially in browsers and other software. It’s just natural. It’s like saying that because they had a mobile app first, you guys copied them by releasing one later. The same goes for the AI Assistant, the activated feature, and the launcher—they did it first, but it doesn’t mean anyone is copying. It feels like something that was going to happen regardless because it makes sense to have a launcher/mobile app etc.
Sometimes, these features come from customer suggestions, just like some of the things you’ve implemented (that I mentioned above) was because you listened to customer feedback. I’m not saying their Sidebar design choice was entirely based on customer feedback since it probably wasn’t, but the sidebar has been working well for years. I think it started around the time Opera introduced it, and now most browsers and other programs are adopting it. (Sidebar exists for a long time, just saying that since Opera did it, it seems everyone is doing it)
I bring this up because, just like CheatHappens has its pros and cons, so do they. Also I don’t see them saying bad things about you guys, so I’m curious to why this mean they're copying. For the record, I do prefer CheatHappens, as you can see, I’ve been active here for sometime. I just want to see a healthy community, that’s all
and I'm going to stick with you guys since I feel like you guys hear more about the feedback among other things.
Thanks PWizard for skipping the only two questions in this post. Can we be notified of up coming major changes? and can we choose whether or not we are ready to update?
Also what's the point of having a complaints, feedback and problem section if you are just going to belittle us when raise an issue?
Did I know I'm the only one at the time of my rant? No I didn't, and until people discuss problems we wont know if it is happening to others.
Also also, why are you bringing up your problems with your competitor and what not? My original post nor I have anything to do with that or them.
Again sorry for being frustrated and venting.
THERE WERE NO MAJOR CHANGES IN THE LATEST RELEASE. Yes, we will notify everyone if we are going to WIPE OUT our entire member's database of settings. We post the changelog on the Aurora board for all releases and make announcements at news.cheathappens.com and in email newsletters and in General Discussions in advance of anything earth shattering that is coming up.
