Just jumping in concur with Turbo.

I'm experiencing exactly the same thing under the same conditions. With the CH executable, I get the server error. When I use Steam integrity verification, it is finding one bad file and redownloading it.

The only way to get online in the game (and therefore save progress) seems to be to use the game's genuine executable (which causes EAC is run) after the file has been repaired using Steam integrity verification without ever using the CH executable.

From my experimenting, it appears that using the CH executable at any point right now causes a game file to corrupt and creates the server connection error from that moment forward, even when trying to start the game normally.

a simple google search brought me to this:

    steamcommunity.com/app/2183900/discussions/0/4852155593257774089/

so it has nothing to do with the trainer.

Tons of respect Devil, but I have been able to replicate with 100% consistency my ability to connect to the servers.

Every single time I attempt to connect to the servers after repairing the file which steam integrity verification identifies as bad, I am able to connect quickly and easily. Even on relaunches of the game.

Every time I try it after running the CH executable, I get the error. Regardless of which executable I use.

I watched the video. Did you notice how the EAC launcher was open for roughly the same amount of time as when you use the CH executable? It's because EAC isn't actually launching.

Try the Steam integrity verification, run the game normally, and see if you get online.

Unfortunately, I am also having exact same issue with above post.

i cannot fix this if the developer have made it this way and it's not my fault that some people kept cheating online which pushed the developer to implement this new anti cheat.

so don't expect any fixes, trainer is going to be the way it is already, blame our competitors which enabled the trainer in multiplayer mode and the people who followed them and abused it.

Anyone else have some new thing installed by Saber Interactive after this patch? When I go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps I have a new installation as of today called "CertsUpdater version 1.5" by Saber Interactive Inc.

Tested again and get AVF error using Trainer every time. When using the trainer EAC gets loaded rather quickly.

After doing this something must get changed because I cannot launch SM II again straight from Steam as I continue to get the AVF error running it directly off Steam. The only way to get the game to launch again is to verify the files of which it detects 1 file it needs to replace.

If I run the trainer again the same thing happens and I have to do the same process all over again.

Then I can launch it from Steam and EAC takes a much longer time to load. Then I do NOT get the AVF error and can connect as normal.

Just sharing my experience/trying to help out but I don't think it's safe to say it still works after the patch...

EDIT: I have confirmed this file is \Steam\steamapps\common\Space Marine 2\EasyAntiCheat\Settings.json which gets modified by the CH bypass I made a copy of it so I don't have to verify my files just to fix this and I see the time stamp change and contents change after using the CH launcher.exe if I just replace the modified settings.json (which bypasses EAC) with the original (that runs EAC ) then I can connect 100% of the the time but running the bypass I can connect 0% of the time getting the AVF error every time

Wow this is pretty hard to hear.
The reason I paid for Tier 7 was because of Space Marine II as I knew it would need constant updates with every patch.
