Hello!

I'm having trouble opening the game through the launcher. When I run the launcher I get a "Critical error".

I disabled the antivirus and also tried running the launcher as administrator.

Can you help me identify where the problem is? Please

I have the game on the Steam store. If after running the Launcher and receiving the error, I open the game directly from Steam, should everything be fine? Does the Launcher prevent a possible BAN?

After the new server maintenace, be very careful with the new currency options, dont go above 2000 requisiton or it will crah out at random times.

Same with operations, if you are using the known method to use the trainer in operations, on the Victory screen the game will crash. It will still reward you but there seems to be a timing issue between local and backend of the game were it timeouts the loading resources.

I can attest it works on operations but super buggy. Once you finish mission you will crash. But your progress and resources save but it is a hassle but I'm still happy it works ! Better than nothing so I will not complain anymore lol. 😈

For those having a vpn its much easier

- Lunch the game with CH luncher

- Change location using a vpn, this should disconnect you from the online mode

- Choose any operations

- Disconnect your vpn

And voilà, you're good to go

Still going this for 1h and no crash or any issues

Found another way to launch without EAC :

From another forum :

"1. Launch the game directly by running Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 - Retail.exe in game folder > Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\bin\pc

2. Create a bat file "game.bat" in game folder where game exe resides, edit it with notepad and paste this in

set SteamAppId=2183900
set SteamGameId=2183900
"Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 - Retail.exe"
Now run game.bat and it will launch the game without EAC."

And someone there's figured out how to edit hex values of all the currencies and exp. So I'm pretty sure theyre editable in COSMOS
