Very odd, it isnt working for me, having the trainer activated is also crashing the game when using certain items, like the radio.
I'm not sure what the issue on your side is but it could be AV or something that interferes with the trainer.
Reinstalled, trainer is working, but still crashing the game when using some items. I.E, using the radio the first time, reading books, and using tools have all caused crashes.
save game please and instructions on how to reproduce, i can't promise you anything as this isn't an easy game to work with but i can try to address the issue.
