Just so it won't get buried under a ton of posts:
Can someone list clearly what specific things breaks the game story progression when using the Trainer to Unlock Early things?

- I read that the weapon abilities can mess up the story...
Is that all of them? Or just specific ones? Should It be avoided all together?

- Is it okay to upgrade everything else like Speeder Bike etc?

What should be avoided to prevent locking the progression and getting stuck

from what I've seen at least ship and weapon upgrades along with the cartel reputation borks the saves

I had this problem too, upgraded my blaster and after i was finished on Kijimi i couldn't leave with my ship because my blaster was allready modded.
Had to reload the whole Kijimi mission but ended up with a complete new storyline and NPC i had to rescue.
I the first gameplay i had to recue a head in a jar, second playgfame it was a rodent who likes bombs.

So in the end it wasn't so bad i had to reload.

The only thing that will almost certainly break your game is the Easy Upgrades. DO NOT USE IT UNTIL YOU UPGRADE YOUR BLASTER. After that it's been fair game for me anyway. I have yet to see my game break after that. I would save before starting that quest. also, only use the cartel editor. the other option in the main trainer will bork your game.

I'd say you can use the option, but don't use it to install new modules.
You can use it to make existing modules stronger/better.

Option is being removed for the members own good. We want them to read, but they won't read the instructions. To be fair, 1/2 the time I just jump in and do the same.

Too many complaints and it DOES suck to have to backtrack to older saves if you even have one.
