I saw a post like a few pages back where someone said that the invisibility cheat does not work during the safecracker mission. I'm just curious if they are any other missions where the invisibility cheat does not work either.

No idea, as others played the game further for me. The rule is this.. toggle on BEFORE you arrive at wherever and don't shoot at the enemy or aggravate them for the best results. If the game has some sort of "minigame" type thing that is special for some specific missions, it might be that the game uses some other function for the AI senses. We can't possibly know that. It's like some games having literally a unique function for EVERY TIMER in 25 missions. So weird.

Know this. I spent 1/3, maybe more, of my trainer making time trying to isolate that ONE OPTION. In fact, it appears other "groups" just came and stole our solution to include in their "work". That's how hard it was. Maybe there is a better way to do it, but I put a lot of time in to try and get the option we do have working.

    FYI

    best,
    Cal

I've used it through the entire game and the stealth option works well. There are very few missions where the enemies are alerted when you enter a room. But this is scripted. They shoot and run towards your starting position, but if you move, you'll see that they have no idea where you are.

In the middle of the game is one boss fight where the option really doesn't work. For this boss only. The fight takes place inside of a large open room. It appears to be scripted too since there is no place for you to hide. But it wouldn't really make sense to become stealth at this point due to the way you have to kill this boss.

I feel like invisibility should mean being invisible—not being seen and, therefore, not getting caught. It’s frustrating that I’ve been captured twice in the Crimson Dawn base in the Market District in Mirogana, even with invisibility. Once, I walked up the ramp directly to the restricted area and was caught. The second attempt I snuck into a restricted area off to the side and was captured. My reputation took a hit both times.

Invisibility works to keep NPCs from seeing you in general, but in restricted areas, they can still capture you, kick you out, and damage your rep. It just doesn’t feel like invisibility is working as it should.

Update: I managed to get past the spot. There was just an overzealous guard who could somehow "see" me. I knocked him out in front of all his friends without any issues and continued on.

If we had 45568848949 hours to play the game 200 different times all the way through in order to see every possible scenario based on every possible decision by Kay to figure out that the Invisibility option works in 844848484847656778480 out of 844848484847656778484 different times in mission X with weapon Y and outfit Z then I guess we could have the "perfect" trainer. Of course we would have to change the name of the site to "Star Wars Outlaws Happens" because we would only have time to work on this one trainer for the rest of our lives. Not sure that is what the majority of users wants, but hey, it's not about them is it? It's just about you.

I've used the cheat in restricted areas as well and never got caught. That doesn't mean you're wrong, it might be possible that it won't work on special characters. Like the one boss I mentioned earlier. It's because they don't share the same 'detection mechanism' instead they're scripted to immediately react to the player. But during the entire game I had this situation only twice. So I cannot complain about it. For me it was the most useful feature of the trainer.

For anyone stuck on the Gunsmith quest because they already have their blaster upgraded, I created a CE script to enable the upgrade again and get unstuck. I read the trainer instruction, which were very clear, but ignored them anyway so that's why I had to get my save unstuck. Cheers.

Can you share that on here?

I think so, but if I'm not allowed then you can delete my post. The method is a bit involved so I put together instructions that must be followed. If you can't get it to work then send me your save and I will fix it for you.

Nice work if so, and thanks for helping. We don't like people to link to offsite trainers or tables. However, your willing to help is commendable.

Well go code it then if you can work that out. I spent like 4 hours on it, maybe more. Other sites STOLE our work. "Wanting" something then making it happen on someone else's coded video game are two very different things. That's why we exist. However, it's not always possible to do what we want or what members ask. I don't profess to be the best trainer maker in the world, but I do put in the time to try and make the core trainer options I think will be needed. Sometimes the games are huge, complex, or are using 10 different functions for "sensory AI", like "sight" "hearing" "reports from other guards" "evidence" blah blah. It's not some simple thing. And this game doesn't give you much to use to try and reverse back to functions.

The option works exactly as intended. If you didn't have it at all, you would see just how useful it has been. The best tips I can give is to toggle the option on, LOAD into the area, then leave it on when approaching and don't attack or stuff that might set off some other "sensory" thing. I have no idea if your sidekick causes his own set of "sensory" issues.

I figured as much, no worries. Feel free to use the offsets if at some point you decide to add the feature to your trainer.

Upload the save you are stuck on somewhere on the net (like google drive or one drive) then post the link here and I'll get it fixed. I think this is allowed, I've seen an earlier post with a link to a some saves. Otherwise look me up on github I have a swo-fixes repo you can open an issue there. Cheers.
