Aurora crashes No Man�s Sky with error on Steam Deck Discussion Message Board - Page 1

When launching with forcing Aurora Launch the game starts but is sluggish on the main menu then crashes with the error message. See attached.

Well not sure it is posting my screenshot. But it is an error window like in windows about contacting hello games.

screenshot didn't attach. i would suggest posting it to an image hosting site and then posting the link here. No man's sky has had 2 updates since the updated trainer came out so that might be a problem also

Change proton versions and also try different trainer versions.

Change proton versions and also try different trainer versions.

How do i do either of those? Where i would normally change the proton version i am selecting aurora to launch and i dont believe i can select two options.

Open Aurora launcher then click on game configuration at the top left. Select your game and at the right side (scroll down) select the proton version. Note you can launch Aurora launcher without any game if you go to desktop mode in Steamdeck and then double click on the Aurora launcher shortcut
