The trainer works, but I have issues with the game frequently freezing or not receiving rewards. How do I fix this?

bruh their undying coverage of this game is ****ing amazing... yall really need to give it up for the dudes making these damn trainers cause the amount of updates they've had to make is ****ing insane...

Turning off cross-play is what's worked for me. Also the trainer worked on my second try, and did require closing browsers.
