having the same issue. restarting/reinstalling doesn't help anyone have a fix for this?

As far as I understand multiple users have stated that the only way to get the trainer to work is to launch the game using steam, THEN when you can move around in your ship, launch the launcher provided by aurora aka the helldiverslauncher.exe file you got from aurora. You will hear 3 beeps and then you should launch aurora and activate the trainer for helldivers 2 .

I think in general right now everyone is facing an issue of the game crashing/freezing after a couple of missions but, this might get resolved with the next patch hopefully.

i launch it from steam, walked around, then i tried to launch the launcher, but i dont hear any beeps or notification. nothing happens

Then you either are missing exclusions or aren't running it as admin.
