Helldivers2Launcher is not working as of now. You can't skip the intro and then end up on an error that reads something like Request 2 ; something ; 403. 403 is an HTTP code that stands for Access Denied.
I haven't tried activating the trainer without the launcher.
The game runs fine without the launcher.

For those who have issues running the game with the launcher, run the game through steam and once you are moving your character on the ship, THEN run the launcher. I know it sounds backwards, but try it. THEN run Aurora and activate the trainer.

Tried this method multiple times. Started the game through Steam. Had the launcher run as administrator. Finally, ran Aurora as administrator. Every time I tried this, the game would crash and not let me do anything. I even made sure my character was moving around before using the launcher. The most recent attempt gave me some kind of game pipe error with error 1002. Not sure if the anti-cheat software or the game got some kind of quiet update after the upload of this trainer.
Same issue. Tried the normal way and server connection error. Tried running the new launcher as admin in the Steam bin game directory after the game is loaded and after running around on the ship. I do here three beeps after the launcher runs but I get a game already running error then the game drops out of memory with this pipe 1002 error.

I am having the same issues as the others. You start the game, move around on the ship then launch the launcher and it will 3 x beeps, then < 10 seconds later it will crash the game.
Then you get popup asking to report a crash or Pipe API error (I didn't get a chance to screenshot this). Aurora is not running at all, Helldivers2Launcher as Administrator or non, same result.

I have the problem that running the game through just the launcher isn't detecting my keyboard or controller, then it can't connect to the server.
Tried also to run it though Steam and then the launcher and as other people have said it just crashes.
For the first thing I would say reinstall the game and/or the drivers for your equipment. Nothing in the trainer should break the ability to use keyboard or controller, so that sounds like something on your end is doing something.
