Hello, like the other poster I'm having the same issue. I tried all steps listed, still nothing. I uninstalled/reinstalled all files (i.e. game files via steam) in the order listed. Restarted my pc and still nothing. Not a pro but I have coding experience so understand how the process works.
The trainer had been working fine post (Escalation of Freedom) game update, then I saw that three days ago the trainer was updated again. Since then the HD2 trainer hasn't been activating. It recognizes the game but then freezes when trying to activate. In the past few days the only change was the trainer being updated. HD2 hasn't been updated since EOF, verifiable by the in-game version number.
This is my first experience with CheatHappens and was debating the lifetime membership. I only started using this site because my save files and were lost and I didn't feel like starting from scratch. But this feels unreliable. Being a paid membership site and now entering the 4th day with no update fixing the issue, Stinks but I have to cancel my membership till a more dependable/reliable trainer has been created. However, I'll keep trying till my membership runs out--fingers crossed.

We've had 3200 downloads of the trainer. I would suspect that if the bypass was "unreliable" that we would have more than 2-3 people reporting issues. Note that the game itself has 25-30 posts about "problems" on Steam every day.
I am sorry you are having issues, but realize that the entire reason that this is "challenging" is that the developers chose to use an obtrusive anticheat to prevent you from enjoying the game as you would like to on your own computer, and to prevent you from accessing the memory of programs YOU ARE RUNNING ON YOUR OWN MACHINE.
But there are hundreds of other sites that have a trainer for this game, so you can go look there and try theirs out to see if it works better for you.

Be careful doing missions too quickly, I can't confirm this is the reason for a ban but I can't access the game anymore.
I would drop in, auto complete missions, and extract over and over.

What if the "third beep / low beep" don't happen?
I wait 3 minutes in the "escalation of freedom screen".
No third beep. Then i push the Space button and entered the sheep.
No need to say the trainer not work, because the Game crash.
Don't know what to do....
Hope you can help me with my problem.
If the beeps don't happen then you failed the security software check of step 2
You need to make sure ANYTHING you get from the CH team that is needed to operate the trainer properly is included in your Security exclusion list.
If you don't hear the beeps that means a security software has snagged your attempts to launch the launcher.

Yes, the folder is excluded; it's the only I added. I saw that Nook posted that it worked for them so I tried, then retried, every step (literally) as written in the exact order—still nothing. Trainer never connects and game crashes.
Most of the time I get the "Hack attempt detected error code 103" (even with following every step). Once in a while I'll get the "PIPE API error" message which I saw was common a few months back.
Screenshot your security Exclusion List and the name of the security software.
And share that in your next post.
Out of everyone that I have helped they haven't setup or followed the instructions properly or they have a security software package that is designed to stop all forms of Memory editing.
Or folks think I am talking the Windows Firewall and only set those not realizing they need to setup exclusion's in Windows Defenders Virus & Security Protection
