When I complete a mission and board the escape line, the game freezes. This issue occurs every 3 to 4 games.
It seems like others are experiencing this issue as well. Is there any solution for this?
Are you crashing or is it just freezing for a while?
Because the freezing has been an issue that we can't get fixed since it related to something anti-cheat trying to run while you using trainer.
It seems to be a permanent freeze. The screen is stuck, and after waiting for quite a long time, only the background music is playing while the game does not resume. This is different from the temporary freeze experienced in previous versions when acquiring in-game currency or escaping.

Hi, sorry for yet another problem and that the gameguard reveals that I use the trainer and therefore makes me close the game
Then you need to redo the steps again after deleting BIN folder and verifying the game
Sorry posted this in the wrong area previously.
I went through the new trainer instructions and followed each step. I verified files and have disabled my av and firewall as well. When I run the new exe file, the game launches and I get on the ship. The trainer sees the game and I hit activate. The voice message says fail and the trainer does not work. I receive the following message:
12:34:28: HELLDIVERS 2, 1.000.405 (STEAM), Last modified: 07/10/2024 09:41:11
12:34:45: Failed attaching to process (ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED) which means the game is very likely protected by anticheat software. If the trainer does NOT work please check out the trainer notes to see if there are any special instructions. Otherwise ignore this warning
12:34:45: Successfully attached to helldivers2
12:34:49: Collect Stratagem, Script error in line 3: Cannot find aob for 'Collect_Stratagem_Type'

Delete your entire game folder called BIN.
Reboot your PC.
Verify the game.
Go into your AV and exclude Aurora folder and the games new BIN folder.
Run the game, without Aurora running, and run around the ship a bit then exit.
Redo the steps.

I've the same issue. You can replicate it by going to collect objects at points of interest on super easy difficulty. While you're collecting at the third/fourth game, it freezes while collecting an object (super credits, medals, credits, etc.).
