right click the right bottom of your screen where it shows you date & time then click on (adjust date and time) and turn off (set time automatically) then click (change) and choose the date.
The trainer works, but I have issues with the game frequently freezing or not receiving rewards. How do I fix this?
Turning off cross-play is what's worked for me. Also the trainer worked on my second try, and did require closing browsers.

I also have this problem. Crossplay is off. Managed to get it wokring without freezing when picking rewards by using other load method, as in starting game with steam and running launcher after.
But the game will still freeze after a while when I leave with the pick up ship. Will be able to play 2-3 rounds then the game will freeze.
Anyone managed to solve this?
