maybe it has something to do with the swap between active and command battles. for example taking damage in active battles it decreases hp there but upon entering command battles the cheat kicks in but seems party members values can get reset to normal values somehow. its not consistent so unclear what causes it maybe buffs and debuffs? van is the only one that seems to persist though. either way active battle hp seems to be a seperate hp bar which when depleted forces you into command battles at a disadvantage. might be worth relabeling the cheat option to make that clear
