I am making this post to clarify that I am having trouble with understanding the dynamics on how to get the Aurora to work properly. Now I am using the Steam Deck and been using it more than the PC for most recent of titles.

Since I have been using it there has only been a few games so far that have worked relatively well on the platform. However depending on the games I am getting a lot of trouble. Depending on the game I load the compatability on Steam to Aurora which makes it all log on and launch and for the most part start the trainer. For reference I also bought the extra upgrade to make it all automatic to make it all load more naturally.

Now when it comes to some of these games it literally locks up, touchscreen does not work and sometime the toggle of cheat just stops working. Overall the worse is when it just freezes up or forces the choice of Steam/Epic and then freezes anyways. Now I am told by good relible moderators that I need to put it in Borderless/Windowed for the freezing to stop to make the trainers work. However, when I do this using -Windowed or -popupwindow under the properties tab of Steamdeck Library for the games it still will not work. More than half the time most games I try to implement this change makes no difference. Am I putting this setting under the game's properties or is there someplace to toggle this setting on the actual Aurora? I am genuinely confused when everyone says put it in borderless/window it works but almost all the time this is not working very well for me. Is the Steamdeck Aurora still in early stages? Is it being updated on to clean these problems eventually? Is the inputs always small? Is the aurora trainer aspect ratio supposed to be blacked out on the top? I just don't truly know for the forums can be quite vague on the Steamdeck side of things. It is just frustrating I buy the games, pay the premiums and almost a whole lot of the library able to be played on the Steamdeck does not work. Please, I just need better input and figure out if I am truly doing this all wrong.

Don't use commands. You have to go in every game and change display settings.

Okay so under the game's settings I put it in Borderless/Window. Not the Properties Launch Options?

    Also update of new issue:
The Aurora seems to overlap every game now. When the trainer pops up and activate the cheats the Aurora page now will not close and when I highlight the game it still stays on the trainer. This is happening to every game now. I tried to toggle the option of minimizing the aurora to the tray but it will just reopen the trainer. I can't seem to get this stop even when the games are set to Borderless/Window or Not. [FIXED] Uncovered this weird glitch of the trainer window not minimizing or closing with the game still playing behind the background or when switching tabs. Had to do a power reset of the Steamdeck so that issue is gone.

For the whole Borderless/Window issue it is not as prevelent in some major titles like Shin Magami Tensei V / Elden Ring / Dead Space etc but Aurora has trouble with mostly indie's or niche/older games such as older cheat trainers or games in early access. Was trying to use the Steamdeck Aurora on Lamentum, Crow Country, Darkest Dungeon etc.

Yes, you do it for every game because ~windowed doesn't work sometimes. As far as not being able to switch screens that happens when developer mode is disabled. It could have been something triggered it to disable and power resetting caused it to turn back on.
