I'm new to this. Just tried running the trainer and...

I would say any of those could cause it, and seeing this it is a chance the trainer will be soon put on hold.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Not sure if anyone has experienced this but just to help anyone that has similar problem to me. When you edit your stats of your character, the screen doesn't reflect any changes right away. I make sure the game is on the character you want to edit, go to editor page on this trainer. Make whatever changes you want to your character. Close the character page, save your game and then reload your game. Check your character page and voila, changes are reflected.

Additional point, you can make multiple character changes but beware when you cycle back to a previous edited character, the changes aren't saved. You have to make sure to click close, save game, load game to make sure the edits are saved
