Using this editor

Ingame click on 'Options' and scroll down and click the button 'Copy savefile to clipboard'.
Launch editor and click on 'Open From Clipboard'.
When you are done press 'Save To Clipboard'. Ingame paste the content into the 'Load File' field and press 'Import savefile' button.

"Failed to load save. Make sure you have copied the full text!" when I paste the code into the game. If I save the code to a file and load it "There was an error reading from file. Is it a valid Magic Research save? Found unexpected error reading from the filesystem or deserializing" Am I the only one with this issue?

I checked everything to make it work, but I don't know why it won't.
My issue is that after loading (and changing anything or nothing at all) and pressing 'Save To Clipboard' will make the editor close itself without saving anything to the clipboard.

Scan exclusions, requirements all checked.

I've tested it and it's working fine on my end. Please try to open your save from clipboard and then press "copy to clipboard" and see if it still crashes.

In the game the "Copy to savefile to clipboard" and pasting the text into the field, then loading works fine.
In the game the "Copy to savefile to clipboard" and "Open From Clipboard" to open the savefile in the editor works fine.
Clicking the "Save To Clipboard" will close the editor with an opened save file. Even if I don't change anything in the opened savefile, the same happens. The Clipboard itself does not contain a new savefile.

Is the saving/compiling use a windows specific program? Or when the editor tries to copy the new code to the Clipboard?
I cannot think anything else, that could be specific to my computer alone.

Check the windows event viewer for a .NET crash entry that is logged at the time the editor crashed. Then we'll hopefully know more about it.

Finally got some time and it was definitely a .NET crash. It seems the solution is to manually clear the Clipboard before hitting the save in the editor. Meanwhile I found out there is a code for clearing the Clipboard, so probably in future editors it could be useful: Link
