Hey guys, I think that maybe the trainer is mislabeled as STEAM when it should be EA PLAY. Can someone please test it on EA PLAY and report back?

I can confirm I tried playing through STEAM and I got the error code then when I installed the game via EA App and launched it worked for me personally

I have the same error as yours, the trainer does not work and I followed all the instructions 0x00000004 i use steam

Used it on EA Play and worked for me. only used it to edit some research points tho.

Trainer now marked as EA PLAY. Will look into Steam version when time allows.
