Unfortunately 2k have a clear direction now with their single player games, and that is always online or you can't play it. If there servers go down bad luck you cannot play.
This also means no memory editing to enjoy the single player game you bought to play YOUR way. You can only play the way this greedy corporation wants you to play and buy there intrusive in your face micro transactions.
Much like the anti-cheat they have now applied to the NBA 2K game they have done it again with this game, game shuts down when you have a memory editor open with the game and redirects you to a website condoning cheating or modding... absolutely disgusting.
Hopefully there can be a trainer, but I doubt it will work with the single player career mode.
I have refunded the game like a lot of other people and will only buy it again if mods/cheats become available for the single player portion of the game.
2K Games you suck!.
