The Microtransactions are the DLCS and if you clikc on DLC on store page theres currency and other items to buy with real currency.

Offline mode works fine. been playing in steam offline mode for hours.

thats a relief still can play without a internet connection.

They did say that the only thing that online mode does is the ability to hire other player's pawns. Offline just limits you to Capcom made pawns.

If there's an Ur Dragon or the equivalent of it in DD2, then online will be needed to fight the version that grants the best/most rewards. In the first game, the Ur Dragon had both an online and offline version but only the former gave access to the full list of rewards as well as the most.

The problem with the UR Dragon in the first PC game was that he would get stronger each time he died and it was supposed to take everyone a lot of work to kill it, After each death it would come back with the next generation as it's name but some people came in with god like damage and health from cheats and were able to kill it so fast that it ended up being generation 999 pretty quickly and normal players with everything maxed out still had little to no hope of beating it because the weapon damage say capped out at 300k but cheaters were able to get their damage up to 9,999,999 and in the end they were the only ones that could damage it and even then it still took a lot of work. I hope nothing we do breaks this game like that.

I remember DD1 having RC cheats. Wasn't that server sided as well? I'm sure when you save/load it will reset but if ingame you can change/use who cares right?

FYI don't edit your main pawn. I've not got a ban but it did disable my pawn from being shared.
