I have been using "Easy Craft" for unlimited shards to buy everything. Even if I have 0 shards, turning on Easy Craft and going to the vendors allows you buy everything.

I'm using this option too.
By the way, that gives you some kind of workaround. Some vendors sell furs and such - buy them with easy craft and 0 shards, then resell them to get shards. It takes a bit of time and effort, but it works.
Just curious, is there a way to use the trainer to adjust the number of certain coils
The option titled "Max Inventory Items" that allows you to set the number of all items in inventory also affects coils and weaves. Individually, no. You'd have to use Cosmos or CoSMOS or something if you can get more than one of them and just move between your inventory and stash and search for the new value in inventory each time. I was able to do this after finding a second slab of greenstone so that I could give myself a lot of it.
Apologies if this is a stupid question. But does anyone know what's changed in the new HF trailer from the previous version? I was looking at the options but I couldn't figure out what's different.
Also curious myself, since the trainer was working perfectly for me.
