    Hey Cal

The figure that you're reproducing in your video is the number that is correctly updating, this number isnt the issue, there seems to be another number in which the game stores its shards, which isn't being updated. This number can be seen when trying to use those modified shards to make a purchase from a vendor, and is displayed in brackets on the purchase screen.

I'll try and see if I can do a video of reproduction steps to help you lock this down, as the current reports of it not working aren't being too helpful in demonstrating the exact issue.

I'll do a couple of screenshots now to demonstrate, and a proper video tomorrow if needed.

    Ta

Okay, so as per my last post, I've attached a couple of screenshots to this post (Note, the issue appears to be exclusively when dealing with vendors, not crafting):

    1) Initial game state before modified shards, you can see the two places the shard figure is reported highlighted in red
    2) I have modified the shards to 123456, however you can see the second figure does not change
    3) I am making a purchase, and you can see that the original figure is the one displayed
    4) After the purchase both figures have decreased by the correct amount

However the second figure, the one that does not change, is the one the game appears to use to determine if you can make a purchase or not, as such if you modify your shard total from N to N+5000, once you have spent N shards the game prevents you from spending more, even if the top figure still reports 5000.

Can attach a video and a save too tomorrow if you need more, but as the figure isn't being updated, this should be reproducible in any save.

I can con firm that I am having this issue as well.
Edit my shards from 40 to 10,000.
Updates to 10,000 shards in my inventory.
Go to a vendor and it will only show the original 40 shards and prevent any purchases.

I have the exact same problem: shard value is modified by editor in inventory, but the updated values isn't used on vendors or crafting; saving and loading the game restores the old unedited shard ammount.
The editing skill point feature works perfectly

Updates to 10,000 shards in my inventory.
Go to a vendor and it will only show the original 40 shards and prevent any purchases.

shoot arrow, craft arrow, shards update in inventory. Then go to shop?

I have no other suggestion. Maybe there is some other "value" but that seems weird.
