Skull and Bones Message Board  

I wanted to thank Calliper for his post on the Skull and Bones anti-chaat system. While I had learned about how anti-cheat programs function in games some years ago (from cheat happens , it's really nice to see Calliper and cheat happens keeping people informed about things like this. I'll be damed if I have to open my computer to this kind of intrusion/invasion simply because the company finds it necessary to do so. As I understand it the two companies releasing this game won't be releasing on steam until their money grubbing days are over and they turn to steam to mop up whatever they can. But guess what? There are a lot of very patient people who can delay thei sense of gratification when it comes to this type of situation. I think it's funny that their very actions will slow down their sales sooner and result in them turning to steam. When the game comes to steam, will you be doing a cheat for the single player folks (with the understanding that it's not to be used in multiplayer?). Multiplayers need to have fair and even playing field. Single player should also have the right to modify their games using any tools they choose to.

Sorry for the extended rant, but I did want to thank you again for your recent (retired) post). You and the rest of your team have been such a pleasure over the years. I've never been disappointed with any of your tools. You have saved me countless hours of my life from "grinding" to get into the parts of the game I want to experience. Thanks again as you continue on with your business! A loyal fan-skip
