Is there anything i have to do before activating it? Toggling it at ship or mid game just ends up making the wait time infinite, instead of instant

Hi.
Dont know if im using trainer wrong or theres an extra step for this. But how does one get more medals after a mission. I keep getting just the ones i pick up during mission which is max 10 medals. I tried max res for mission and max mission resources pickup options both separate and together during mission but still the same. All other options i use all work just for resources they dont. I play solo always. So i dont know if im doing something wrong or it only works for other resources.
Edit: Nevermind i checked on discord and saw medals are tied to server and theres no chance of editing them.
