Yeap, had same issue again but another possible workaround is deleting the "--delay_gameguard_init " when this happens, then try to start from launcher again

I've a sneaking suspicion that nProtect, on exit of the game ( like crashing) saves the last state of the game essentially so changing a parameter like the above command works around this.

So after more testing, I think another step before reinstalling / redownloading the entire game to attempt to get the trainer working beyond the 153 errors, is to launch the game normally ( without or with aurora, it doesnt matter until you try to start the trainer while nProtect is on )

After that, exit the game and start the launcher and hopefully should hear beeps. Got mine to work with my custom .dll so bit of proof of editing the new upcoming weapon in the new battlepass imgur.com/a/B52oYG4

So now, for me at least, the process to troubleshoot the trainer are:
1. Verify files
2. Either add / remove the "--delay_gameguard_init,"
3. Start the game normally, exit and then attempt launcher
4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 if doesnt work on step 3
5. Restart PC, repeat steps 1-3
6. User nuclear option, redownload entire game
7. Curl up in fetal position and wait for trainer update
8. Highly unlikely but play the game normally

Have tried what you have suggested but i cannot get past error 153.

Edit: Tried also what TakaX7 posted above but i cannot get past this damn error 153.

I think you can gain more time using the F1 key by disabling the in-game overlay.

First of all, I definitely saw the effect.

Has anyone figured out how to get your run speed back when you get back onto your ship? My guy just crawls everywhere lol.

Disable unlimited stamina

Those who have 153 errors.

Assuming you have installed and updated the Helldivers2launcher from the trainer into the game /bin forlder.

Launch Aurora.exe --> Open HD2 Trainer --> Open Helldivers2Launcher.exe --> As soon as you hit it, click (spam) F1 multiple times until game launches.

While you are spamming the F1 button, ignore trainer sounds. Just hit until it opens.
