fair i had not read all the history yet but i also don't bother with weak enemies too often so its not a huge deal for me luckily.

also sure not F11? aurora on mine says F11 = super health and F12 is super speed.

Well, i'm playing with the SG-225 Breaker Shotgun and the RL-112 Recoilless Rifle it works very well for everything without strategems. Titans are 3 shot hit, if they're well placed with the RL-112, best to focus on their head. Even the annoying Charger is a 2 hit kill for safe, if you are not stand in the explosion area from the Rifle.... And im not using the "Weak Enemies" Option. In my Opinion it is better to use this Option randomly, not constant. 😉

I feel you. I'm having the same exact problem as you.

When I try to do this on my desktop, the minute Game Found appears, 0.01 seconds later GameGuard error pops up. Same as you, doesn't matter if I'm spamming F1 before Game Found appears.

The funny thing is, on my Lenovo Legion laptop, it works. Game Found appears and I have time (like at least a few seconds) to press F1 to activate the trainer.

I'm following the same exact steps on both Desktop and Laptop. Only difference is desktop is Windows 10 and laptop is Windows 11, and Laptop is running on VPN with a slower internet connection than my Desktop. 🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂ I've sort of given up trying to get it to work on my Desktop.

EDIT: Okay this is really weird. I turned on the same VPN that i'm using on my laptop (SurfShark) on my desktop, and the launcher immediately worked 0.o I don't know what to say.

You get a small advantage to have Steam closed regarding reaction time vs Steam open when trainer finds game. Steam open launch or launch with Steam closed. Game is found earlier (more time to press F1) with Steam closed and opened with CH exe launch. Not sure this applies to all. Hope you get what I mean... 😁

Regarding the loading times, one suggestion I have would be to only run the game once per startup. Once you have exited the game, shut down or restart your computer. Reason for it is that if you frequently run a game (or any other application for that matter) during a continuous session of windows, then some of the game's files (possibly including the anti-cheat) could be cached in ram, resulting in a faster loading of the game, even more so if you have a large amount of ram. By restarting or shutting down windows, said cached data within ram will be purged and the game will need to load everything from scratch again the next time you start it, resulting in a longer grace period to activate the trainer.

Usually, the time difference isn't much but in a scenario where it is down to the second, it could make a lot of difference.

If people want to try this to help, you can delete the folder

GameGuard

before you use the launcher. It may help and it's safe to do so.

Another thing is to set STEAM to OFFLINE mode, delete GameGuard directory, run the game using the launcher. Activate once you see Game Running, then when game starts up and reports NO CONNECTION or something, simply set steam back to GO ONLINE.

This may help some people.

Has anyone tried or had any luck over on steam deck?

I would say verify the game first...
It feels like some of your game files are missing...

Because you did not say anything about the "beep"...
If you do this right, you should hear a beep right after
you start the "Helldivers2Launcher.exe"...
then 3/4 sec after will be another beep to notify you to press F1/"Activate Trainer"..
and you should have at least 7 sec to press it before you get a GameGuard error pops up...

btw, you only need to press once...
After that just wait, when you can see your super destroyer, you should hear the "Trainer Activated" sound, just like the video on the first page.

If you get a completely different result. You should verify the game or restart your PC.

Forgot to put it down, Your Anti-Virus might be the reason too.
As this is a trainer, it modifies other file's data.
Some Anti-Virus might see it as a virus, like stupid Norton.
It is best to set both Aurora's folder & the trainer attachments: in his case will be "Helldivers2Launcher.exe" - exclude those files and folders from real-time scans.
Just google it, most Anti-Virus do have this function but the steps are a bit different and should be easy to find online.
