reboot and try again

I had the same issue as above. I realized I run a lot of my programs as administrator.

For Aurora, Helldivers2Launcher.exe, and helldivers2.exe (not sure if this one really matters) uncheck “Run this program as administrator” option.

Afterwards, I followed the steps laid out by dracoda. Everything launched for me and I did not crash… yet.

Right-click your EXE --> "Properties" --> "Compatibility" tab --> Uncheck "Run this program as an administrator" option.

i just uninstalled everything. deleted all the local folders. shutdown and booted. and then reinstalled everything. Ran the game normally once and then extracted the launcher from the trainer and put in the correct folder. still getting the same errors

Where do i download the new launcher from? Theres no file download in Aurora anymore?

Most likely you have hidden it.
Go to trainer settings - show/hide trainer attachements.

Had to verify integrity from Steam and it somehow broke the trainer. Everytime i used the launcher it still starts up GameGuard.

After rummaging through the /bin directory i saw 2 files "GameGuard.des" and "GameGuard .des" (with a space in it)

I took out the one with the space and the trainer works again.

It worked about 2 days ago, today same gameguard errors again, seems like something will break the trainer/game after reboots, restarting game. Can't be like have to re-install game, verify, and do all the steps for each time I play the game.
Tried to verify restart PC, no change. Played game without trainer, works well.
It has worked 2 times max in a row using the trainer after 18th June patch. Before that patch had it working for weeks.
I have had to do all possible steps and beyond to get it running. Nothing has changed in AV or program/OS settings that I'm aware of. Usually when you get something to work, it does work until next patch. Weird.

Anyway, thanks to CH staff to keep the trainer alive!

Every time i use the launcher aurora freezes then the game crashes.
