Yep, tried that and same issue.
Hi there I posted about that last month. Usually it happens on the first mission of the 3- mission planet. The bug would let you also repeat the same mission over and over which is great to collect super credits since you'll know exactly where they on the map by the second time around.
The bug is launcher specific, in other words... download a previous launcher to fix it, go to an earlier version of the trainer and download that launcher... overwrite whatever launcher you have in game folder and run it with the latest trainer.... eventually, you will find a version of the launcher which will not make that fail reward at the end of the mission... Just keep trying different launchers until you get the one. Best luck to you.
For those having the error 153 issue. I opened the game as normal through stream or whatever launcher you use, ran around my ship for a few seconds and closed the game and retried and it work as normal.
Hope this helps.
Got it working with CH Discord support yesterday. Did verify game files, start game without trainer and after that restart PC. Today it's not working, verified game files and it replaced some file.
It's either trainer cannot find game (pressed activate too early), or failed (pressed too late). The activation time is so short, it's almost impossible to be able to do it before GGuard shuts game down. Before 18th patch I was able to activate trainer 5 out of 6 times. Not sure what CH staff does differently when seems have plenty of time to activate the trainer.
Run around the ship without trainer does not help me, tried it today.
EDIT: Just tried again, and first it failed, but activated again right after fail, and it succeeded. Really inconsistent.
Thanks to CH team to keep for all the hard work with this.

Game Guard Error 153 appears too quickly. Is there a way to solve this problem?
I also watched the video
If you look at the video, after running the launcher and checking if the game is found, you press the Activate Trainer button, but the interval is too long.
For me, error 153 pops up right away without any time and it doesn't work.
I was getting the same error and it did not clear up until I got the newest launcher exe and copied it into the folder again. I am not sure if you need to change out the EXE each update or if its somehow tied to a cache somewhere that gets cleared when you drop a new file in there. I dont know... but try getting the newest exe and dropping it in there.

You should ALWAYS replace the launcher .exe after every update and/or trainer release.
