Trainer works once get it activated. It got harder for me as well to get trainer activated after 18th update compared to before the game update. I get it activated once in 5 tries, others end with 153 error. It has to be done real fast, otherwise activation fails. Not sure why the time window to activate got shorter. Maybe new anticheat from devs is the culprit.

I had no problems killing Bile Titans (recoilless rifle) with trainer running.

Able to kill bile titans, tested with spear.

Very odd I am getting similar outcomes .... by chance could you share what security software your running on your computer?

As for me: Norton, Malwarebytes, NordVPN
on Windows 11

cant seem to use the new trainer, made sure to use the new luncher too.

I asked what security software your using.
In the mean time I have filed an update request with as much detail as possible to see if Cal might be able to identify the reason for this issue.
