Aurora Bug Reports Discussion

Attached screenshots. I manually closed all major background apps except ShareX for the screenshots and Steam for the game. Chrome and windows Notepad are not the culprits lol
I closed anything related to gaming performance, peripheral apps, audio processing, etc. Of course, it could be something unexpected, but like I said I had this issue on a previous installation with different hardware.

Tons of background services are open doing little to nothing. In the past, I've booted into safe mode and it still had the issue, I can do that again if it helps you troubleshoot.

Is the input lag gone if you disable hotkeys in Aurora settings?

I only got two images and combined are just a partial list of all background apps/services/etc. I need to see the whole list, even if they are not using any resources. I also still need to see the Startup tab of Task Manager. thx

do you have streaming/recorder hardware plugged into your graphics card? do you have your mouse and/or keyboard plugged into your computer directly? have you tried turning off the nvidia overlay? have you tried running the games in full screen mode?

Addressing the replies:
I have no recording devices plugged into my computer.
My peripherals are directly plugged into my highest bandwidth USB 3.1 Gen 2(?) slots.
Completely turning off NVidia shadowplay/overlay does not help.
Running games in fullscreen/borderless does not seem to help, fullscreen in DX11 games might be slightly snappier in general but the input lag either exists or it doesn't.

Again, this has happened to me on two separate motherboard/processor builds and two separate Windows installations over like 6 months. Odds are it could be some other software conflicting with Aurora, but I cannot imagine what.

I've attached screenshots of my startup apps along with a typical process list where I haven't closed anything for troubleshooting. As I said, I've tried closing everything except the game and Aurora to no avail, so unless it is a specific background service it's probably not another application causing the issue.

Screenshotting services is a little challenging as the window does not resize, so forgive the formatting.
