A bit confused, I tried renaming the GameGuard.des to GameGuard2.des but when i launch the game it gives me an error for the anticheat.
Saw the video again and saw the file being named GameGuard.bak what is the correct one?

Solution for dyslexics, install mobile app, and Activate the trainer in the app at same time, directly when u push the steam start button, Boom works.

Guys, the easiest way to activate the trainer at the right time in order to avoid GameGuard or other errors is:

1. Load the game and change your video settings so that the game runs in a WINDOW and is NOT a FULLSCREEN WINDOW. Change the resolution/size so that you can fit both Aurora and the game on the screen at the same time.

2. Before starting the game, open the latest HD2 trainer in Aurora. Look at the top where it says "GAME NOT RUNNING".

3. Launch the game via STEAM.

4. Immediately watch Aurora to change from "GAME NOT RUNNING" to "GAME FOUND". The second you see this you need to either click the "Activate Trainer" button in Aurora or press F1 to activate. You only have about a 2 second window to get this right or else you will get GameGuard errors, game freeze, etc.

5. If you did it right, Aurora will say "Trainer Activated" and the game will continue to load without error.

Note that if you have two or more monitors then just place Aurora on one that the game is not on so you can watch for "GAME FOUND".

Hope that helps. Remember you still need to rename one or both of the GameGuard.des files and add the command-line parameter to the game for the trainer to work.

It doesn't matter what you name it to.

If you get the game to launch with Aurora but get the error about game.dll close the trainer in Aurora. Then open the trainer again and hit F1. It should then enable cheats. Been working for me. Annoying part is still crash due to HD2 random bugs.

followed the instruction to the letter, trianer activated but when I toggle any of the options, I get a Failed sound and the line below with script error in line 1 game.ddl does not exist... tried reinstalling aurora but could not get rid of this issue
