This is a ridiculous issue and I've had problems with it in more than one savegame, scumming them. Oh well, I'm cheating so I can just get back to where I was. Not an issue honestly.
That said, you can mitigate this. The trainer allows you to alter the keys. Personally, I go to the right side (use the list view) where the keymap is shown and just click "remove hotkey". These aren't very important options anyway, and you can avoid it entirely by just unmapping the option. Alternatively, if you want to keep trying in vain to make it work, you can double-click to change the key bind.
Keep in mind, our buddies that work their butts off making these trainers are trying to keep up with the updates on a beta version of the game, so they're constantly playing catch-up with the updates. TBH if I had the disposable income to throw more donations their way, I would, because being a lifetime member feels like getting free stuff with games like this.
Regardless, give it a try please! I had my issues and still have some occasionally, but this seems to fix the hover problems at least!

So I haven't tried it since dropping all the fly and hover hotkeys, but I'm a bit afraid to. I feel like I got a savegame scum when I was still using the Gamepass version with the trainer so I'm really afraid to touch the left Alt key now seeing this. I generally use the mobile connection for the trainer now, so I haven't hit the left Alt in game while using the trainer since I started on the Steam version. I may try just starting a new game and seeing if it still does it to me. I'm really reticent to try that though.

no one has provided a save game for this issue. Provide a save game with replication instructions please. We are unable to replicate this issue with out a save game.
