The only way I was able to get past the black screen was to make a desktop shortcut though the xbox app and run as admin. But the trainer wont recognize the game now. The trainer can open the game but it wont recognize the file path and it wont let me change it to the desktop shortcut. Any ideas how to get it to work?
they black screen is a known issue with the game on gamepass and the game devs are working on a fix
After a while of having cheats activated (free craft, free build + instant options) the AI stops working. Monsters stop moving and you can't catch them.
I don't experience this if I keep the cheats off.
save them close the game and then reopen the game and trainer then you should be good to go
What do you mean? The game saves when I exit, of course.
If I close the game and reload, I'll keep everything I have. But those particular cheats, or one of them as I haven't checked them one by one, it will always cause the monsters to stop moving, and you can't catch anything.
So if you ever wanna build something or craft something for free, you have to end up closing and reopening the game to continue catching monsters. They can't work, eat or sleep if they cannot move, either.
There's a misunderstanding here,Free craft, Free build , Instant options has nothing to do with NPCs or how they behave since they have their own separate code and functions in the game,highly likely you have enable Freeze enemies option accidentally while playing the game, it is advisable to disable unnecessary options before starting the game.
No, I did not have freeze enemies enabled.
I checked multiple times what options were activated, and it was only the free building / crafting options.
I enable options through the menu, not hotkeys.

I've just checked again and since the option merge and trainer update, nothing is freezing.
It was 100% freezing before though for me with those options, I restarted the game like 10 times and it happened each time, without touching any of the other options.
Whatevers been changed since has fixed it for me.
Okey this is getting kinda weird. Can someone explain what the diffrence is between Invulnerable, Immortal Mode and Unlimited Health? Arent they kinda the same thing?
Invulnerable: NPC attack doesn't effects you at all.
Immortal Mode: Hunger has zero effect on you.
Unlimited Health: Simply keeps you alive.

i join my friend server and tried using free build and free craft, but nothing works.

CheatHappens doesn't support nor offer support for multiplayer in and kind.
