The maximize window option did the trick I can see the buttons and switch trainers. It works perfectly now. Thanks Jaz10!

Oh man I cannot for the life of me get aurora to work for Vampire Survivors. Aurora opens but I cannot click on the trainer or use mouse to click to open. I've tried game mode and in desktop mode the game freezes right away and i gotta reboot my deck. I have developer mode enabled and I've tried different protons in the tool and tried the different settings in the tool and still can't open the trainer. Any ideas?

Have you tried switching the games display settings to windowed or borderless?

I checked it out but I don't see the option in the game's settings to switch to windowed 😐 I shall keep trying lol

Normally Vampire Survivors run in window mode by default, at least on desktop. Have you tried the desktop mode of Steamdeck?

Try many proton versions. If nothing changes it might be one of those games that just doesnt work well. I know I had that issue with FFXII where it didnt work on Desktop but on gaming mode I couldn't switch to windowed mode. So I just left it until one day a proton version fixed it.
