Log files look fine, dunno. The issue is that the launcher is just telling Proton "run this" and from there on its basically "done". All it can do is telling if the proton process is closed or still running. But it cannot tell whatever happens inside of it. The log says that it told Proton to run Aurora and Proton process launched and that's it.

I also don't know which Proton version STL uses. Maybe it doesnt use "GE-Proton8-27" and that's why it works. Maybe you can find and attach the STL logs too. According to their Github they should be in ~/.config/steamtinkerlaunch/logs/

Tekken 8 is working with Aurora now. I'm using the latest SD tool, proton 8-31 and desktop mode.

As for the palworld mouse/controller issue its looking to be an aurora issue as using STL with another cheat app works. Something in Aurora is causing the issues in both STL and SD tool method.

Edit: I tried Nuking the pfx for Palworld but it didn't help. Uninstalled reinstalled it but still nothing. I tried Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night but I am not having the controller/mouse issue with it as another user claimed.

Hello,

I tried using the Aurora with Resident evil 4 (2022). so when the game launches, Aurora pops up and once i click on resident evil 4, it freezes from that point on. the mouse and the trackpad because unresponsive. Im someone new to using both the steam deck and Aurora so i was hoping someone more knowledgeable would know about this issue. or know how to get it running with resident evil 4

No, it does not. It was the most popular free one. It's named after what it is.

Edit: You were on it! I went to the hotkey settings and I disabled them and that solved the issue.

Are you in gaming mode by any chance? You have to change your settings to windowed in the game or it will hog all the mouse input. If that still doesnt work go to desktop mode and try it there.

If you are already in desktop and already have things windowed then most likely there is another issue going on.

Yeah I tried both in gaming and desktop mode. I also set the game on -windowed through the steam settings in desktop mode. I have no idea how to fix this problem, it's pretty frustrating. Also cause I bought the tool for 10$ and I can't use it

@MrAlexABC96: Jaz10 posted the solution just above your post. He said disabling hotkeys in Aurora settings fixes it for him. I suggest you try the same. Edit: You might need to restart Aurora afterwards.

I keep having this ever time I try to start the tool no mater the game
I have verify the games and still have the same problem
