I dont understand why you can't bring it back. Usually you only click on the taskbar icon like if you would switch windows.
I also don't understand why memory usage should go to 0 when you minimize Aurora. That makes absolutely no sense and is definitely not a normal behavior. Either we are talking past each other and I just misunderstand you or your system is crazy.
The CPU usage comes from rendering Aurora. If you enable HW acceleration the work is shifted to the GPU. Minimizing to taskbar stops the rendering and thus decreases the CPU/GPU usage. Rendering can be higher if you have a monitor with high refresh rate, g-sync etc. Because Aurora renders at fix 60 frames per second.
both my monitors are locked at 60Hz
and the GPU usage is 0 weather its min or not as if it using the CPU and RAM for everything
I just turned off hardware acceleration in window settings, “System” > “Display” Change default graphics settings.
Going to reboot the computer and see if that fixes anything as i only had it disabled in the app
This is like the weirdest thread ever. Starting to agree with 0x90 that your system is a bit "crazy". Part of it could be upgrading/downgrading Windows Preview Builds (from experience -- I can no longer run Windows Edge unless I run the Canary version - no clue). I really hope we figure this out for my own mental health. You might take up 0x90 on that remote access and just let him poke around a bit. He might discover something very obvious that we are just all overlooking.
Plus i just upgraded my GPU from a 980 ti to a RTX 4060ti on Sunday.... but if he wants to remote in to check just let me know what he needs on my end and i am on discord if anything need that...
now for a added bonus after rebooting PC its now telling me after i log in i am offline...... even though i am online and on discord
