idk man, it all looks right to me. You are searching for the number you have in stock, not on the market, right? You're changing the value for the resulting line, not the address? I know it sounds like I think youre stupid or something, but everything you posted is exactly what i do and it works for me, the only difference is i usually have to buy/sell a few times and next search to narrow it down to 1 address...
are you using the cosmos built into aurora, or the standalone program? I'm doing it through aurora if that matters.
Yes, in stock number. I've tried Cosmos Basic, Cosmos Advanced, and Cosmos through Aurora.

I started a new game and can now edit things like muskets and cannons. Any tips on editing resources? Especially the ones with a decimal?
Any hints on finding reputation?
Do a search for your current value.
Go to research projects and pay reputation to hurry one up (click the little box in the top right of the research item card)
Do a next search for new value.
Repeat as needed. May become necessary to advance time to the next day in order to clear out the research projects so you can buy more hurry ups. Works best right at the start of the campaign when unlocking the various departments is super cheap. I've never had to do a 'next search' more than twice to find the correct address.

Cosmos advanced should allow you to account for rounding ( I admit i used that other memory editor program when I did my resources for the save file). Then same process as the guns.

Oh boy, Cosmos is giving me a headache! I can search for the original reputation number, change it, but when I hit "Next Scan" nothing happens.
