Tried out the new trainer but it failed to activate, got these messages:

I guess it's sleep for me instead of gaming
fixed and will be up later.
*Sigh* I think it's time for me to give up on cheating on this game now.
The editor works for a while, but it's only 20 slots so when you have more than 20 different item types in game, the editor turns wonky. It's hard to make it change to the resource you want to manage, if you can get it to switch from the first 20 item types at all. So the editor works for the first 20 minutes of a game if you're lucky.
You could completely remove the editor if you just lowered the values of the Mega Resources option instead. The thing is, in-game storage relies on a building called Warehouse, and a single Warehouse can only hold 120000(120k) item counts(so that is EACH count of ALL item types, so 3 item types that each has 10 units makes 30 item counts). Each Warehouse also takes up 4 tiles on the building map, and the total amount of tiles for a map is limited. You cannot build infinite Warehouses.
And when this was first talked about the value of Mega Resources was 9999, so all item types gets 9999 item counts each. At that moment you only had to have/get 12 different item types before one warehouse was full, and any excess item types end up in temporary storage, where they can't be used by the player until the make more room(build more Warehouses, discard entire stacks of item types). I and a few people have been asking for the value of 999 instead, as that is manageable in the game and you don't need to cover the limited space in Warehouses.
The major trainer update after that, a few options where removed and then the Mega Resources option value was changed into 99999. Then you only needed 1.2 item types to fill one Warehouse. This is silly of course, and I wrote a post about it thinking it must've been a mistake. I still haven't gotten a response on that post.
Now with the latest trainer update, even more options where removed and the editor for items is still as unreliable after a short while playing, so I thought "Let's just use the Mega Resources option! That mistake should be fixed now".
No, it wasn't. The maker of this trainer has now seen fit to INCREASE the value of Mega Resources AGAIN, with another decimal. That's right, now the Mega Resource option gives a whooping 999999 counts of a SINGLE ITEM TYPE/STACK. Even if I have only a single type of item like a Stone for building, I will need 9, 9 Warehouses to fill that single item type/stack. The first 5 minutes of the game nets you 4-10 new item types, and there isn't a single map in the game that can fit 80 Warehouses and still be able to build other buildings.
And again, the editor does NOT work properly once you get enough item types/stacks. It holds onto old values unless you can refresh your inventory in a very specific way, that also stops working as a workaround after a while.
I could write more but there is no point. I've written polite posts about it, I've tried to use CoSMoS to do it myself(unfortunately I lack the skill), I've tried to use my RC to implement a user-entered value for the option and all I get is silence. I got my account back in 2006, and this is the first time I've been utterly dissapointed in something CH has made. First time shame on me etc. as I should've known better when my first proper post was thoroughly ignored.
I have gone through this post several times to ensure it isn't flammatory or abusive, so hopefully this post gets to remain so others can make better decisions if they want to use this trainer or not.
so what you're saying is we should remove the editor and remove the Mega Resources option?

In the latest update I left the resources unaltered, in fact they've been like this for a long time since I set them to 999.999 so if you're seeing any anomalies it's the developers choice for the resources to be like this, in the latest update I had to remove Unlimtied Health and Super Damage because of large mass of reports saying that they're not working but I couldn't reproduce the issue so finally I gave up to avoid further confusion, this is NOT an easy game to create a trainer for, I just wish people understood that trainers aren't made in a single click and some of them like this one requires a lot more than that you could possibly imagine.
I'll change the resources to 999, let's see if I could finally satisfy everyone equally on this trainer.

Again I apologize if I've come off as rude, short, accusive and/or priviliged, it's not my intent. It's just pure frustration at this point making me write these things, but I am not one of those people who think I'm owed everything for 6 dollars either.
You do good work and this game has been the victim of weird communication and as you say, it's not easy. I've sat with CE and CoSMoS and other programs, and I feel that my beginner level problems is hard enough not to mention the level of the problems I'm sure you encounter on a day to day basis. 🙂
Just to clarify, this is me appreciating you and your work. I professionally work as a software tester and QA specialist in many different business areas, and I know what you're going through.
And thank you for your time! 😁
