To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer is

Whenever I try to use the Refresh Storage Editor option the game stops responding, do I have to just mouse over the chest or open it first?
The notes just say:
Refresh Storage Editor:
Mouse over storagebox first the use this to refresh the storage editor.
Is that not working? If so, can you provide us a video and/or savegame? zip/rar first.

The game with freeze after editing the storage, error message appear on the screen; also first storage slot is unreadable, the value will show negative random amount
