Try to reinstall the game on Steam.

The trainer for version 55 runs without this error but some options don't work like sprint.
The new trainer for v56 does not work. I removed the game, reinstalled and clear the dir. Always the same error. Can anyone help? I have no mods so thats not it.
What version is the game?

The version is as said the v56. Same as the new trainer. And yes of course. The original trainer worked fantastic. Then i was getting that error after a new trainer came out. Then the last version v55 worked until they came out with the game version v56. It still loads but most options don't work. Now with trainer v56 it's back to that error again. It's like every other trainer update fails. The previous trainer for v55 loads fine but only option 4 works. The new trainer for v56 gives that error. Game version is v56.
I got on of testers to try it and they confirmed the error message as you.
So you would have to make a report.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Done. I feel bad since they just updated it but the update doesn't work as you just confirmed.
