Seems that trainer does not work anymore after the latest game update.
also seems that game is dead since I'm the only person that filled an update request until now...

oh well, RIP Cities: Skylines 2

For the 15 people still playing this game, trainer seems to work fine after the latest update. I have built 3 cities using it and haven't had any issues. I do however just use the trainer to give myself money and research points in the beginning, I don't actually constantly have it running in the background while I play.
