Just an FYI to all the people complaining about the skill point option not working. If you press spacebar while having a skill node selected with the trainer option on, it will unlock the node perfectly fine. It only doesnt work when you manually click the unlock button using your mouse. Otherwise you can unlock every node in the tree using spacebar when you have 999 skill point option turned on.
Confirming this works.
It might be that you need to have some points to start with?
Anyway, just filled out the entire tree at level 8.
Make sure you get at least few skill points (or any in order to upgrade) then turn on Easy Craft option.

It also makes productions buildings works without materials.
They auto-produce stuff without having materials.
Pretty genius too.
