Works fine here unless you advanced the game more than me then it's your save game that's required to replicate and address this cause generally we don't have time to play the game.
Tried uploading the save data with the forums feature but i got stucked on the replay page, cant upload. So i uploaded it on to google drives.
I ended up using another trainer for the items so my save data is afftected by that but the problem exists before i looked up for alternatives. Hope it works.
