Aurora Bug Reports Discussion

Hello there,
I'm experiencing exactly the same problem as this guy here:

However, none of the hints were successful on my PC (deactivate all the security software, tried with Google DNS, flushDNS...)
I played with trainers from CheatHappens for years but since Aurora has been launched it's not working

Please help...

Try with a VPN.

Not really the answer I expected. I have no VPN and I have no clue which one to use. Needless to say that the effect of the speed and quality of my Internet connection is another concern
Any idea which one is good enough, free and easy to set up? Thanks.

NordVPN is very popular and comes with a 30-day trial. I am trying to rule out issues which is part of the troubleshooting process. If you are able to use Aurora while connected to a VPN then it's possible that your ISP is blocking the connection to our Aurora server. If it still doesn't work then we move on to checking other possibilities.

Something else you can do is while the Aurora login screen is up, right click on the Aurora icon in the taskbar and choose Check Connection. Then provide me with the output results, both with and without the VPN connected.

About the right click on the Aurora icon, there is not "Check connection" when I did that, just the regular Windows options (close, pin).

See attached screenshot of me right clicking on the Windows TASKBAR (not TASK MANAGER) and the options that are shown. If you can't get it to do that then you likely have some kind of problem with Windows in general and may need to do a reset on it.

You are using W11 but I'm using W10 and on W10 the right click is much simplier.

Please let me know the results of the VPN and we will go from there.
