reached for the dying triple A gaming industry.
This game is obnoxious and boring AF.
It's more like a cutscene and loading screen simulator, absolutely no immersion what so ever.
Boring storyline
Outdated graphics
No real space feeling
Spaceship and space fights are completely unnecessary and forced
It's nothing more than mediocre shooter looter.
And the price tag? For crying out loud.
I actually never expected much from the main story and I find the interface a bit clunky but I do like the side missions and the combat. To be honest I have never finished the main story of a Bethesda game yet.
I don't get that at all. I get to build ships, fly to multiple planets which is A LOT, have a crew, have companions that follow in battle, join factions, buy houses, edit my houses, etc etc etc, this is such an immersive game and I am loving ever second of it. Sad you guys don't feel the same but not a lot of games are even doign this much. Stick to your rpgs I guess LOL
I felt the same way for the first 20 hours. After 100hrs..
You have many "companions" that do not follow or help you in anyway. You have 1 that acts as a pack mule for the ridiculous inventory system.
I have 8 crew members on my massive ships... that never get's boarded. After 100% the game the largest ship battle was a 5 vs 7 that lasted 5min
Yay my house has stuff in it... cool.
I've joined every faction and completed all their railroad storylines, there's only one choice in the entire game that has any effect, destroy or join pirates
The main quest is probably the worst part of the game, terrible terrible writing.
The ship customization is fun at class A, at C it's annoying. Why can't I change door locations? It's all moot anyway as you click to travel and space fighting is about as in depth as a mobile game.
Voice acting is atrocious, music boring, planets procedural copypasta (~300 of the 1000 are non explorable)
Finally I had to mod the game for Ultrawide, mod to change Fov, mod to remove the weird filters, mod to add DLSS.. in a AAA I paid $100 for. Awesome, ya I'll stick to my rpgs
