AV is disabled fully. Webroot

I run the program.
Can see aurora.exe briefly in Task manager, but then disappears.
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Users\bck\Downloads\Aurora\Aurora.exe".Error in manifest or policy file "C:\Users\bck\Downloads\Aurora\Aurora.exe" on line 0. Invalid Xml syntax.
My Internet is functioning.

Hi FireflyBCK.

Make sure you set an exclusion on the folder you have Aurora in your AV. Even when turning it off it still not fully deactivated for your own safety.
Also make sure you extract all files from the download.
A good thing is also to avoid any cloud saving locations on your PC. Like onedrive.

Uninstall Webroot and all traces of it. It's the worst AV on the Internet and is responsible for behavior in which you are describing, yes even when disabled. I have done multiple TeamViewer sessions in the last week with people and similar issues or worse and every one of them was using Webroot. Once it was gone, so was the issue. After you do that and reboot, disable Windows Defender and then run Aurora and see what happens.

I wish. It's actually a work laptop, but fortunate to get an alienware.

Managed to get an exception. Yeah the stupid AV was still blocking even when supposedly disabled.

But working now.
