I had and internet outage last night. After i woke up the following morning.
I run aurora and get this message.
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropiate permissions to access the item.
So i run in in admin mode same thing, now i have had downloadable game trainers do this but never aurora since it first came out. I have full control on all my computer i put in a ticket for this but its seems at the pace its going i one message back a day and ill never be able to use my trainers again.
I'm tier 7 so i would have thought there would be a quicker response. I have no antivirus running even though its never stopped me from running aurora. I have reinstalled this so many times i have lost count.
The only one that seemed to try to run at install was the mirror site. But it just installs tries to update and closes and it the same error about access again.
Any help would be great.

I would bet that this has something to do with the security software on your PC blocking access to the file. That is where I would go first. Disable it. Uninstall it if you have to just to see. You can also open a command prompt and run sfc /scannow to see if any of your OS files are corrupted which could also lead to this issue. If you can't get it then just email me chris@cheathappens.com and we can do a TeamViewer session to look at it.

Yes I was doing a quite a bit of troubleshooting around the web and actually already did all the things you both mentioned.
I did find and error with the scannow with cmd prompt but it seems it had nothing to do with my problem.
I won't even launch in administrator. Its the only executable being effected on my computer this way I do have off all antivirus that really hasn't been and issue for aurora before, more when it was standalone downloaded trainers. I'm not sure what the next steps are I just want to use my trainers lol
I guess whatever teamview is.

And if you download Aurora from the internet and extract it into a new/different folder, can you launch it then?

I just tried it in the c drive still same thing.
Why is this only happening with one executable...is odd.

In this case PWizard is right and its more likely a security software issue. I suggest you follow his advise and email him for a teamviewer session. More about teamviewer: Link
