For those who own the Steam version, the only working trainer is the
1.0.5654.0 (third from the top), the newer enhanced with unlimited ammo & grenades do not work for invulnerable/health 😗
What doesn't works exactly?
Health and Invulnerability...first shot dead 🙁
Just tested the trainer and everything's perfectly intact, which level are you on?

The trainer always inform "activated" but do not work.
Got this for unlimited health, repeating until I close Quake 2:

13:22:48: Script error in line 1: Cannot find aob for 'originalcode_2258'
Its the same for any levels.

As you can see it activates and works fine.
Am I really the only one playing this on GOG?
Have you tried the current trainer?
Yes, it doesn't support GOG, I'm guessing because the executable has a different name (quake2ex_gog.exe). Probably not too difficult to make it work for the knowledgeable. I already did my request through the established channels but it seems nobody is backing up that request, that's why I asked myself if I'm the only one playing it on that platform
is this the exact executable name?
quake2ex_gog.exe
Yes, that's correct (quake2ex_gog.exe)
Added GOG trainer,it should work as long as the code is the same either way pleas lmk.
I tested this with the GOG version today and tried options Invulnerable, armor and ammo. All of them worked without problems. Thanks a lot

Wonder how? Watched your clip, did the same, results:

I own Quake II on Steam and I have found out that after starting or loading a game and then activating the trainer options if I have to either load a save game or start another expansion (without quitting Quake II entirely) all options stop working and when I ALT + TAB to Aurora then Aurora stops responding and crashes without an error message. So far this has only happened with Quake II and not any other game I use Aurora with.
And if you disable options before loading a save or starting a new expansion?
Might be the trainer doesn't handle having options on before you in a save or new game.
